Milwaukee Car Rental and Timber Falls Adventure Park

Timber Falls is a theme park in Wisconsin. It is worth a visit with your Milwaukee car rental because it has some of the shortest lines in the country for an adventure park. Even better, the all-day passes start at $14.99, and cover all rides, bumper boats, and mini-golf.

Ride on the wild side

If roller coasters are your thing, then there are some here that you will want to try before leaving in your Milwaukee car rental. Does a coaster that drops 10 stories at 70-degree angles sound like fun? The Avalanche is one of the tallest, longest, and fastest in the area. The twists and turns and this wood and steel rollercoaster will take your breath away, and the lineups are shorter than many other theme parks and you can ride all you want for $14.99.

The Skyscraper Thrill Ride will take you 160 feet off the ground and then pull you down at 50 miles per hour at a force of 4 Gs. This ride is a lot of fun, and with a day pass you get 50 percent off the cost of the ticket.

The Timber Wolf Log Ride will take you up a 1/4 vertical mile, then plunge you down in a log. You'll snake round the mountain and then plunge to the bottom. If you still need to cool off after this ride, bumper boats will get you a little more soaked. You can even spray family members without getting in trouble.

The all-day pass covers the use of Avalanche roller coaster, Timber Wolf log ride, bumper boats, and all four 18-hole miniature golf courses. With the day pass you will also get a 50 percent discount on the Skyscraper thrill ride, which is regularly priced at $20. If you don't plan on staying for long before exploring other areas with your Milwaukee car rental, then you can get some of the rides for individual prices. The park is open from Memorial Day Weekend until Labour Day Weekend.

While this may not be the biggest theme park in the area, it is a lot of fun once you are here with your Milwaukee car rental. The park is found in Wisconsin Dells. To get here from the east with your Milwaukee car rental, you need to take Highway 23 into Wisconsin Dells, where it will become Broadway. The park is at the corner of Stand Rock Road and Broadway. You will travel through the downtown area, which you may want to stop in on your way back for some shopping and sightseeing. Nearby there is also Noah's Ark, the largest outdoor water park in the United States. Why not make it an adventurous day and visit both: Timber Falls in the morning and Noah's Ark in the afternoon and evening.

Timber Falls, although it is small, has some excellent rides for your family to enjoy in the Dells. It will bring you back to a simpler time when rides were fun, not just a blur of twists and turns.
