Discovery World is one of the newest museums at Pier Wisconsin. It is a brand-new interactive museum with state-of-the-art technology. This building has exhibits about science, technology, and even economics. The most-recognized exhibit of the building is the double-helix staircase that goes around a 40-foot model of a human genome. This represents the set of chromosomes that make up the part of the gene that gives us our inherited traits. Science-lovers will love this exhibit.

In the Aquatarium history and science meet. The building is shaped in a circle that is reminiscent of the pilot house on a Great Lakes schooner. You can board the schooner and see the sleeping quarters, navigation equipment, and cooking gallery that would have been present on the vessel. A series of aquariums trace the freshwater and saltwater habitats from Milwaukee to the Caribbean. You can see the creatures that are kept in these tanks and learn more about them as you walk through the building.
