Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, there are over 200 animals living here with popular exhibits such as the primate and large cat buildings and a new 5200-pound rhinoceros named Bender. There are special areas for kids to play and areas where you can bring or buy your lunch. The zoo is open from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. during the summer, and until 4:30 p.m. in the winter.

The lighthouse was built in 1880 for a cost of $100,000, making the harbor at Racine a safe one to travel in. Before the lighthouse was built, there was only a tree for sailors to look for off the Point. Today, the lighthouse and the buildings associated with it serve as municipal offices for the village of Wind Point.
  • There are tours of the Wisconsin Underground Railroad, both offered by walking or driving. The Underground Railroad was the first "railroad" in Wisconsin, with several stations on its route. A guided tour will take you back to the heroism of the day, when people fought for their freedom on their way to Canada through the area.
