Wisconsin Travel and Overture Center for the Arts

Top attractions within the establishment include Overture Hall, the intimate Playhouse performance theatre and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Take a tour of the Overture

A Wisconsin travel trip to the Overture Center for the Arts wouldn't be complete without a guided tour of the facility. In-depth guided tours of the Overture's venues and backstage areas are offered regularly and cost just $3. These 90 minute tours provide travelers with an exclusive look behind the curtain at the Overture and include a look at props and equipment. Wisconsin travel tourists can participate in guided tours of the Overture Wednesdays at 2pm and Saturdays at noon. Giving back to the community

Spreading the joy of art throughout the community is an important part of the Overture's mission statement. That's why the venue created a performance arts series for students called OnStage. This series provides local residents and Wisconsin travel tourists with access to a diverse range of performing art forms, as well as multicultural opportunities and performance programs. This program is designed to integrate arts into all levels of education, whether it is academic, cultural or personal development. Tickets can be purchase for the majority of the venues in the Overture Center for the Arts at the Overture Center's Rotunda Lobby at 201 State Street. Wisconsin travel tourist can visit the Rotunda Lobby Monday through Friday from 11am-5:30pm and Saturday 11am-2pm. The office is also open additional hours in the evening on performance days.
