A myth no longer - the Museum of Beer and Brewing comes to life
For years a rumor has circulated through the streets of Milwaukee concerning the destination of a mythic beer and brewing museum. People were positive that such a place existed, but no one could ever pinpoint an exact address. Well, Mayfair Milwaukee Car Rentals has cracked the mystery concerning the location of the Museum of Beer and Brewing... there isn't one! That's right Wisconsin travel participants, the Museum of Beer and Brewing is in no way tied down to one specific location. Instead, members of the museum opt to meet at local breweries in order to discuss upcoming events and programs. This also allows the museum's membership to span a wide geographical area. Customers of Mayfair Milwaukee Car Rentals are invited to become founding members of the Museum of Beer and Brewery by simply contact the board of directors.
Participate in a monthly meeting or lecture series presentation
Even though the Museum of Beer and Brewing may seem like more of an illusion then a real institution, it does manage to provide Wisconsin travel groups with a number of exciting events. If you'd like to learn more about Wisconsin's brewing history, the Museum of Beer and Brewing invites you to participate in the facility's monthly meeting. Held at a different Wisconsin brewery every month, these meetings discuss local happenings in the brewery world as well as help plan upcoming events. The Museum of Beer and Brewing also provides visitors with access to exciting lecture series, pub-crawls, and local festivals.
Virtual exhibits for technologically savvy Wisconsin travel planners
Customers of Mayfair Milwaukee Car Rentals are invited to visit the Museum of Beer and Brewing homepage at www.brewingmuseum.org. This exciting website provides visitors with an interactive schedule of upcoming events as well as news from local brewing circles. A handful of virtual exhibits are also featured on the website, providing internet savvy travelers with a preliminary look at the history of beer and brewing in Wisconsin. Exhibits currently on display on the Museum of Beer and Brewing website include profiles of the Oberman Brewery as well as brief synopses of beer history in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Customers of Mayfair Milwaukee Car Rentals can also learn more about membership benefits by visiting the official website of the Museum of Beer and Brewing.
The future of Wisconsin's brewing past
The Museum of Beer and Brewing may be homeless now, but this is (hopefully!) a temporary situation. Plans are currently underway to help find a permanent home for this institution this year. If all goes well over the next few months, the Museum of Beer and Brewing will open in spring of 2008 at the Pabst Brewery. Until then, an interim site is being set up in the Tasting Room of the Milwaukee Brewing Company. Customers of Mayfair Milwaukee Car Rentals are invited to log onto the Museum's official website to learn more about these exciting preparations.
