Beer

Of course, you don't come here on your Wisconsin travels for the food. People come for the beer! They make their own signature beer to serve, so trying a glass or two is always nice. The Downtown Honey Ale reflects the old days of Milwaukee's nightlife, when there were saloons and rough and ready backroom bars. As street lights became more popular, the nightlife of the city changed. This beer reflects the cleaner, classical style of Milwaukee's heritage.

The Solomon Juneau Ale is named after the man who paddled up the Milwaukee River from Lake Michigan and built a trading post there. In his canoe he carried a variety of items, the most important of which was beer. This beer is inspired by the European pilsners: a golden ale with a crisp dry finish that will quench your thirst for a good time on your Wisconsin travels.

The Pull Chain Pail Ale goes back to the time when factory supervisors would have union mandated beer breaks. This tribute to the hard working men and women who built this foundation for Milwaukee is reflected in this beer, which is a hoppy American ale.

Louie's Demise reflects the story of Great Great Uncle Louie was cracked over the head with a beer glass and died. Nobody knows why this happened. This legend is one of Wisconsin's most famous, which you may hear while you travel through. So have a drink for Uncle Louie!

Sheepshead Stout honors the German immigrants who founded the first big brewery in the city and their love of a great beer game: Sheepshead. This creamy stout is brewed with nine different malts, then poured into pints from a nitrogen tap.

Finally there is Session Beer, which offers an always changing variety of beer styles and flavors.
