The Great Northern Beer Festival is an event that takes place in Eagle River, WI with your Milwaukee truck rental. The beer festival is a appreciation of beer and an opportunity to try many different types from many different breweries.

Packing it all into one day of fun

There is parking available for your Milwaukee truck rental, but make sure that you have a designated driver available to make the trip back safely (the designated driver will get in for free with your paid admission). If you are staying nearby for the night, there are free shuttles to participating hotels. Children and pets are not allowed at the festival. When you get to the festival, there are two lines: a "prepaid tickets" line and a "purchase tickets" line. Make sure you select the right one! If you do have advance tickets, bring it with your ID to get a wrist band, tasting glass, and program. If you are buying tickets, you will need ID and money to get all of the above. You will need the wristband to get into the festival grounds. When you sample a beer, you will get a 2-3 oz. sample of their beer to try. Make sure to grab something to eat while you are here as well to make sure that you don't overindulge too quickly!

How you can get your tickets

In 2008, tickets were $20 in advance and $25 at the gates. There are also three different ways that you can buy tickets: online (there is a $3 convenience fee), by mail, and at liquor departments in Eagle River, Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Wausau as well as the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center. Your designated driver will get in free with a paid admission.
