If you're interested in taking part in this years African World Festival, now's the time to start planning. The festival normally takes place the first weekend in August, with opening ceremonies beginning on the Friday. Directions to the Henry Maier Festival Park are as follows:
Take I-94 until you reach Milwaukee. From here look for I-794 East and take the Lincoln Memorial Drive exit. After exiting from I-794, make sure you are in the right lane. You will need to turn right onto East Michigan Avenue. From East Michigan Avenue, take another quick right onto North Harbor Drive. The Henry Maier Festival Park will appear to your south.
